New insurance cards have arrived; HSA tax documents will be available online

All IU employees enrolled in an Anthem plan for 2017 should have received new ID cards in the mail, according to IU Human Resources.
The card includes a new group number for all IU plans and a new ID number for all employees. The new card combines medical, vision and pharmacy information on one card.
Be sure to update all of your insurance information with your doctor or pharmacy for 2017 in order to receive services. That's because IU's old group numbers and ID numbers have been canceled in Anthem's system, so attempting to use your old card could result in denied claims.
Anthem only sent two cards per employee. Need another card? Order them by calling Anthem directly at the number on the back of your ID card. You can also download customized cards or order additional cards from anthem.com.
In addition, IU employees enrolled in a health savings account through the university’s provider, Nyhart, should log onto iu.nyhart.com to access tax documents. The documents, which are expected to be available online by the beginning of February, will no longer be mailed to employees’ home address.
In addition, as of Jan. 1, employees’ benefit cards are restricted to medical, pharmacy, dental and vision merchants. Employees can still request direct deposit or check distributions from their health savings account via the Nyhart website or mobile app.
Users of the mobile app can view account balances, set card notifications, assign beneficiaries, request distributions and download tax documents on any iPhone, Android or tablet device. Nyhart’s mobile app is available through the Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iPhone.
