The celebrated photographer Rosamond Purcell, whom The New York Times called "a still-life painter with a camera," will give a presentation at the Harlos House, across the street from Wells Library, on Oct. 13. The following day, she will present a lecture at the opening of the new collaborative exhibition at the Grunwald Gallery of Art that includes her contributions: "(Re)Imagining Science."
Purcell's photographs will be on display through Nov. 16. Works from several of her other series -- including "Egg & Nest," "A Glorious Enterprise" and "Object Lessons" -- are also in the collection.
