IU Kokomo's University Theatre group performed the comedy classic "You Can't Take It With You" at Havens Auditorium in November.

The play, written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, tells the story of Alice Sycamore, the most normal member of the eccentric Vanderhof-Sycamore family, as she introduces her relatives to her fiancé and his snooty family. Fireworks ensue as their two worlds collide, but Grandpa Vanderhof reminds them all of the importance of living life to the fullest.

These scenes from the performance show students and faculty from IU Kokomo on stage in some awkward moments and humorous acts.

Student participation in the University Theatre group aligns with priorities outlined in the university’s Bicentennial Strategic Plan, including a commitment to student success.
